THE CRIMINAL JUDICIAL FIELD AND PROCEDURAL REFORM: THE CASE OF SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO, ARGENTINE REPUBLIC

The present work aims to delimit the criminal judicial field within the framework of the administration of justice in the province of Santiago del Estero, Argentine Republic, during the period 2002 - 2017, as a space with relative autonomy, where a series of agents intervene, and that its primary function and legitimizing foundation is the resolution of various types of conflicts. The results presented here represent unprecedented aspects of what was investigated within the framework of the Doctorate in Law and Social Sciences at the National University of Córdoba, entitled "Criminal procedure reform in Santiago del Estero: socio-anthropological analysis of legal change". In it we set out to analyze a criminal procedure reform process within the framework of a broad judicial reform process in a province of the Argentine Republic.
