Institutionalities and Gender Transversality in Higher Education. Advances, Resistance and Counterreactions
Keywords:

In this work we make a brief approach to the mainstreaming of the gender perspective in higher education. In one section we review the context of the problematization of gender equality in higher education institutions within the framework of a process of
expanding university citizenship that currently faces explicit counter-reactions to the incorporation of the gender perspective, but also a serious delegitimization of the university and the sciences as a social product. Then, we explain what the mainstreaming of this
approach is about and how it was implemented with its advances and deficits. In a third moment, we define and exemplify the main gender institutionalities, within the framework of the institutional experience of the National University of La Pampa and we conclude that
we are in a moment in which the continuity of gender policies in universities is in danger at the same time that feminisms are the ones that lead the resistance actions within the houses of study.
