SKETCHES OF A LEGAL ANTHROPOLOGY OLD PARADIGMS, NEW CHALLENGES

One of the sciences that has been covering the study of man with great concern has been anthropology; However, new fields of specific knowledge such as legal anthropology have been emerging. There is no single definition regarding this new branch and although its genesis is due to the interest of researchers who professed other branches, to date it has shown great flight because the importance that culture plays in nature has been recognized. of the human being and his own institutions. Through documentary analysis and looking back at the new perspectives of legal anthropology, as part of social anthropology, we have ventured to sniff out its old concepts and to be able to identify the different spaces of interest of contemporary legal anthropology, through a bibliographic review. The results of this “dive” show that from legal anthropology we will not be able to provide solutions independently, but rather we must forge articulation processes with other knowledge sciences and from there try to contribute to different topics of interest in anthropology. legal in relation to the needs of other fields of knowledge. In that sense, achieving an articulation with other branches of knowledge has to be the objective of legal anthropology, to try to explain the various institutions that revolve around it, legal anthropology should not be considered as an end, but as a means to reach the end and, that end is an adequate interpretation of the legal systems that have changed to date.
